Kathryn is Head of Audience Science at Wavemaker leading a team of research and social insight specialists. With over 20 years experience in media research she has translated hundreds of key marketing and business questions into research and insight projects for clients.

She’s worked with a variety of industry suppliers and media owners delivering work to an array of clients across a broad range of sectors including finance, travel, retail, motors and public sector. Kathryn also leads key research projects and thought leadership pieces for the agency with past projects on customer service, ageism in the industry, understanding the impact of voice using neuroscience , change forever post pandemic, new economy services and most recently a cost of living study.

In 2017, 2019 and 2020 her team were awarded Media Agency Research Team of the Year at the Mediatel Research Awards and she won the IPA award for best conference paper at the Media Research Group Conference in November 2018 with her paper ‘ The tongue paints what the eyes can't see: power of voice.’
