Lennart Sohst, a seasoned Solution Architect and Senior Manager, bringing over 17 years of expertise in the dynamic field of media and TV broadcast.
Beginning his career at SES in 2006 as a Systems Engineer for consumer electronics, he joined in 2008 the HD+ team, to develop and launch the German HD platform. During the following years, Lennart further developed new end consumer products for HD+ in cooperation with the consumer electronics industry.
During this period, Lennart also contributed as one of the key initiators to the HbbTV initiative. He played a significant role in editing and publishing the initial standard and coordinated the successful launch of HbbTV products in the market with CE partners.
In 2015, Lennart became a team leader for product solutions at SES, gaining international expertise in specifying concepts and creating TV platforms worldwide, including satellite and internet-based solutions.
After two years as a Project Leader Engineering at Rohde & Schwarz, where he led the development of a professional media storage system, Lennart returned to HD+ in 2022. He currently leads the integration of the HD+ Operator Application in a major TV brand and is responsible for the technical architecture of new TV platform products at HD+ and SES.
