Who would nurture trusted news journalism? Would global streamers and tech platforms create the local stories that reflect Australian life and culture? Beyond being good corporate citizens, is there a hard business case for Australian marketers to support local media – surely globals can create popular shows that deliver engaged audiences in a mindset to receive advertising messages?
