Frank Vogel, born in Gießen, Germany, in 1973, has been Managing Director of Ad Alliance since June 2022. Previously he was a member of Ad Alliance's extended management team since April 2020. As CSMO he was responsible for all sales areas, negotiations with media agencies and clients as well as the Ad+Concept Studio and marketing.
He studied psychology at the University of Hamburg and began his career as a media planner at CARAT Hamburg in 2000, later going on to a market research role at Warner Music Germany in Hamburg. In 2005, he moved into the media industry, taking up a position as Project Manager Research & Media Marketing at Bauer Media, where he further developed media and trend research. In 2006, he joined Gruner + Jahr, where he focused on promoting ad effectiveness research, first as team leader, then as of 2009 as Head of Marketing Research, and then from 2011 as Director Media Marketing & Media Research Services. He was appointed a member of the G+J e|MS management team in 2013, and its spokesman in 2015. In January 2018, he was given responsibility for National Sales & Sales Solutions within the G+J e|MS management team.
