Faz Aftab holds the position of Director of International Media & Entertainment Partnerships at Google. Since starting in September 2021, she has been instrumental in developing Media and Entertainment partnerships across Google's Platforms and Ecosystems, focusing on the EMEA and APAC regions. A significant part of her role is dedicated to expanding the Google TV platform internationally.
Prior to Google, Faz was at ITV, where she served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Distribution from 2011 to 2021. Her tenure at ITV was marked by significant achievements, including her role as Chair of Freesat, where she successfully led the merger of Freesat (a BBC/ITV Joint Venture) with DUK (a joint venture involving BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5).
