Alejandro has over 20 years of experience in the TV and media industry. He started his career in
1999 at the Mul@media department of KPN Research. His work during this period was focused on
developing and valida@ng solu@ons for QoS measurement of VoIP, and for video DRM. Since 2004 he
has worked on specifica@ons and designs for various components of KPN’s IPTV and OTT service
ecosystem including STB hardware, STB middleware and applica@ons, video pipeline, back-office
systems and CAS/DRM. Over the past couple of years, Alejandro was responsible for TV business
development and strategy, leading a mul@disciplinary team that implemented proof of concepts
aimed at valida@ng new TV services and technologies.
In his current posi@on, Alejandro is responsible for KPN TV STBs.
Alejandro holds a MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo,
Spain.
