Dhanny is the co-founder and Managing Director at BAFTA & RTS winning and Emmy nominated Big Deal Films.

Starting in talent management, he secured Adam Deacon’s BAFTA Rising Star win with a campaign that triumphed over Chris Hemsworth, Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston. Recognising the lack of diverse talent on-screen, he partnered with Thomas Stogdon to transform Big Deal into an indie home for underrepresented voices and new stories. Under his leadership, BDF has grown into a multi-genre company, partnering with some of the most prestigious studios including A24, working with some of the most acclaimed talent in film and television including Adjani Salmon, Humza Arshad, Ashley Walters as well as exciting digital first talent including Billy The Goat, star of the Channel 4.0 RTS nominated show GOATED.

With a track record of unearthing fresh stories created by up and coming writer and actor, Adjani Salmon, Big Deal began working on the web series called Dreaming Whilst Black created by up and coming Adjani Salmon, and developed it into a BAFTA winning pilot and going onto become the most internationally sold British show of 2023.

Beyond TV, Dhanny led a global counter-terrorism campaign with Humza Arshad MBE and the Metropolitan Police, a $1m Google Creators for Change initiative, and secured Arshad’s Little Badman book deal with Penguin Random House. His deep industry relationships and sharp understanding of marketing and brand-building have positioned BDF as a premier force in British television, rooted in authenticity and innovation
