Kate Scott-Dawkins is the Global President, Business Intelligence of GroupM. She is responsible for leading the group’s research and marketplace intelligence division, including authoring the This Year Next Year global ad spend forecasts, in addition to regional forecasts in dozens of markets throughout the year. She has also developed custom research and analysis for GroupM clients. A member of GroupM’s Global Leadership Team, Kate enjoys working at the intersection of advertising, technology, artificial intelligence, and creativity to provide clients with unrivaled perspectives that help move their business goals forward.

The Business Intelligence team, through its POVs, forecasts and This Week Next Week podcast, works to transparently benchmark the ad industry’s ups and downs as well as break down the real-time dynamics informing their bottom-up approach to building their views. These weekly and periodic commentaries provide keen insights about the ever-changing, evolutionary nature of the media that the ad industry buys and that consumers spend their time with.

Prior to joining GroupM and Essence, Kate received her MBA from the University of Cambridge, which came after a three-year stint at Red Bricks Media.

Kate also serves as an advisory board member for Career Girls, a non-profit with a mission for all girls to reach their full potential and discover their own path to empowerment through access to inspiring career role models and supportive girl-centric curriculum. A former Olympic hopeful, Kate was a member of the U.S. Archery team and won two collegiate championships while at UCLA.
