Thijs Bijleveld joined IMAX Streaming and Consumer Technology in 2023 as Vice President of Sales for EMEA & APAC coming from Conviva. Previously, Thijs headed sales and marketing at Metrological since 2014 which resulted in the successful acquisition of Metrological by Comcast in 2019. He initiated and led the companies’ commercial expansion with MVPDs, streamers and broadcasters in the EMEA and APAC region. After the acquisition he served four years as Executive Director running the EMEA team for Comcast’s syndication business. Thijs holds various board advisory positions within the Media & Telecom industry. Aside from his passion to support the Media & Entertainment industry to deliver value added services, Thijs puts his family first and loves road biking, sailing, and cooking.
